On May 8, 2012, Claire Lomas, who is paralyzed from the chest down, crossed the finish line of the London Marathon. It took her 16 days to complete the course which she walked with the aid of a the ReWalk suit, a ‘bionic’ suit designed to allow people with lower limb paralysis to walk and stand.

Lomas entered the marathon to raise money for Spinal Research.
